The Links Valley, Ermelo, The Netherlands

The Links Valley is the first golf course in Europe that can be played in two directions. With plans to build a new clubhouse with a roof terrace, a waterproof and surfacing solution with an insulated build-up was required.

Preston bus station

Preston bus station aims to restore and preserve the iconic 1960’s design by incorporating a user-friendly, fresh feel to its car park. The car parks area totals over 12,000m² and the project specified the treatment of the exposed car park decks, the two internal decks and all access ramps.

The University of Birmingham

In May 2018, Triflex were approached by The University of Birmingham who required a rapid and easy waterproofing solution for one of the Halls within the campus. The university outlined that if a solution was to be provided it must have almost zero disruption to their students’ day.

Olympia car park

This multi-storey car park required a waterproofing and surfacing solution for all 3 levels of the Olympia car park. Areas of the car park revealed very deep wheel indentations, with 80mm of asphalt at the sides and as little as 15mm in the middle.

St. Simon Stock School

This school was in need of urgent renovation due to the existing mineral felt and asphalt waterproofing failing, this was allowing water to ingress into the classrooms, kitchen and dining hall below.

Asda, Liverpool

The single 3,000m² storey car park at the popular Asda store in Huyton, Liverpool was showing significant signs of deterioration and was in need of urgent renovation. The existing asphalt substrate was installed a number of years earlier and had been subject to high levels of trafficking and exposure to the elements.

K West Hotel

The 2500m² flat roof of this hotel consisted of asphalt and a bituminous membrane. The substrate was now allowing water to ingress into below rooms causing serious damage, in some areas the ingress had become so severe that rooms had to be completely closed off to guests.

The hospital car park at Ninewells, Dundee outlined that their need for on-site parking was extremely high, as their current car park was suffering with water ingress from higher and causing structural damage and damage to parked cars.
