Cold roof systems

What is a cold roof?

In a flat, cold roof build-up, the insulation is below the structural roof deck, within the structural frame. Today, warm roof construction is recommended due the inherent difficulties of both providing adequate ventilation and thermal performance in a cold roof build-up.

For refurbishment of cold roof build-ups, Triflex liquid applied membranes are compatible with many different substrates, providing the perfect overlay solution. Alternatively, cold flat roofs can be converted to a warm roof build-up, utilising the Triflex ProTect warm roof system as an overlay.
