Triflex waterproofing systems are suitable for inverted warm roofs. Tough and durable, they can be laid underneath thermal insulation build-ups to provide a warm roof solution.
What is an Inverted roof?
An inverted roof is where the liquid waterproofing membrane is installed directly onto the structural deck, and covered with insulation and either paving or ballast. This is sometimes referred to as a protected membrane, or “upside down” build-up.
Triflex waterproofing system for inverted warm roofs
Triflex ProTect inverted roof: Triflex ProTect is the ideal solution for inverted roofs as the system is resistant to standing and ponding water. The system can be used with various overburden, with typical build-ups including a geotextile filter fleece, extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation, a water reducing layer and various overburden including paving and decking (with and without pedestals) and ballast.
